Each day, the strategy checks the U.S. stock market using SPY. If the market’s recent trend is stronger than its long-term trend, it owns a mix of momentum-driven U.S. stocks (SPMO) plus diversifiers like gold, commodities, managed futures, and a long/short stock fund. If not, it moves to a more defensive mix: managed futures, gold, and lower-volatility stock funds.
