About

An aggressive trading strategy that flips between leveraged stock funds, volatility bets, and cash-like T-bills based on whether the market looks overheated, oversold, trending, or dangerous.
NutHow it works
This strategy is a fast-moving market “traffic cop.” When stocks—especially tech—look too hot, it often buys volatility funds like UVXY, which usually rise when markets panic. When tech looks beaten down, it buys aggressive tech funds like TECL or SOXL for a rebound. If markets are calmer, it follows the trend in big indexes like the S&P 500, Nasdaq, and Dow, sometimes using leveraged versions. It also checks whether the market mood is healthy by comparing tech to defensive sectors, stocks to bonds, and recent selloffs. If conditions look dangerous, it may hide in very short-term Treasury bills (BIL), a cash-like parking spot.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
