About

A daily rules-based “pop” trader with a fear gauge: buy oversold stock indexes, hedge if overheated, or sit in T‑bills. In calmer regimes it rotates among stocks and bonds (incl. long/short Treasuries and USD). Heavy use of 3x ETFs; very aggressive.
NutHow it works
Daily it checks market fear (VIXM) and a heat score (RSI 0–100: >80 too hot, <30 washed out). High fear: hedge with UVXY if too hot, buy 3x stock funds if washed out (SPXL=S&P, TQQQ=Nasdaq, SOXL=semis), else hold T‑bills (BIL). Lower fear: also rotate, using bond/heat tests, into long or short long‑Treasuries (TMF/TMV), US dollar (UUP), healthcare (CURE), mid‑caps (MIDU), or a 3x S&P short (SPXU). Leverage = big swings.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~20.9% annualized return vs ~21.6% for the S&P, with regime-based hedges and diversified rotations. A risk-managed, rules-based path to growth that complements plain equity exposure.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
