About

Daily, rules‑based “buy dips, hedge rips.” Uses leveraged S&P/Nasdaq on sharp pullbacks, UVXY on overheated surges, and otherwise diversifies into dividend stocks, managed futures (KMLM), gold/commodities/bonds/dollar, and top sectors. High risk due to 3× ETFs.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks if stocks are hot or cold using a 0–100 “speedometer” of recent moves (RSI). If S&P/Nasdaq are very cold (<25), it buys their 3× funds (SPXL/TQQQ) for a bounce. If very hot (>80), it holds UVXY as a short‑term pullback hedge. Otherwise it spreads across: dividend stocks (SCHD) + managed futures (KMLM), trend leaders in gold/commodities/bonds/dollar, a rules‑based mix, and the 3 strongest sectors. If stock trend is weak, it leans defensive. Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy beats the S&P on risk-adjusted return: Sharpe 1.56 vs 1.32, Calmar 2.77, and ~56% annualized return vs ~21%, with ~20% drawdown. Diversified, rules-based dip-buying and hedging aim for higher upside with controlled risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
