This strategy checks the U.S. stock market every day and can swing quickly between very aggressive bets and a more diversified backup mix. If stocks look extremely overheated, it buys UVXY, a fund that tends to rise when market fear jumps. If stocks look heavily beaten down, it buys a 3x stock fund. Otherwise, it follows market-trend tests to decide between staying aggressive or rotating into a mix of dividend stocks, managed futures, bonds, commodities, gold, and strong market sectors.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
