About

A daily tactical plan: buy volatility on euphoric spikes, buy 3× stock ETFs on selloffs, and otherwise hold a diversified momentum core (dividends, managed futures, sectors, bonds, commodities, US$). Uses leveraged ETFs and adapts to shifting trends.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks short‑term “speed” on the S&P 500 and Nasdaq. If they look extremely hot, it briefly buys a volatility hedge (UVXY). If they look washed‑out, it buys 3× bull funds (SPXL/TQQQ) for a bounce. Otherwise it splits: 60% steady core (SCHD+KMLM and 4 strongest diversifiers), 22% rotates among stocks/bonds/commodities/US$ by 6‑mo trend, 22% holds the 3 hottest sectors. Bond checks fine‑tune choices.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers far higher upside with solid risk control: about 54% annualized return vs ~21% for the S&P, Sharpe ~1.51 vs ~1.32, Calmar ~2.67. Diversified sleeves + volatility hedges offer crisis alpha despite ~20% drawdown vs ~19%.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
