This strategy checks the S&P 500, Nasdaq, and semiconductor markets every day using a simple “hot or cold” gauge of recent price moves. If one looks beaten down, it buys a turbocharged version of that market. If it looks too overheated, it shifts into a volatility fund that can rise during panic. Otherwise, it parks money in hedges such as bonds, cash-like T-bills, the U.S. dollar, utilities, gold, commodities, or managed futures, depending on which defensive assets look strongest.
