About

Daily system that buys oversold S&P/Nasdaq/semis for short rebounds, hedges when overheated, and otherwise holds cash, dollar, bonds, utilities, or commodities. Uses leveraged ETFs with volatility-based sizing.
NutHow it works
It watches three areas: S&P 500 (SPXL), Nasdaq-100 (TQQQ) and semiconductors (SOXL). If one looks washed out (RSI<30, a short-term “cold” reading), it buys that 3x fund for a bounce. If it looks too hot (RSI>80), it buys UVXY (jumps when fear/vol spikes). Otherwise it moves to hedges: T-bills (BIL), short S&P (SH), strong USD (USDU), utilities (XLU), or long Treasuries (TLT). Some sleeves use commodities (PDBC/GLD) or trend baskets. Sized by recent vol; rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: about 29.9% annual return vs 21.1% for S&P, with a Calmar ~1.12, indicating strong risk-adjusted upside. Uses guided levered rebounds plus hedges/diversifiers, seeking bigger gains with risk managed, despite higher drawdowns (~26.7%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
