About
A high-risk, daily trading strategy that tries to buy sharp dips in U.S. stocks—especially tech and semiconductors—and sometimes bet on a fear spike after markets get too overheated.
Each day, the strategy checks whether 3 fast-moving stock funds look unusually beaten down or overheated using a simple “too far, too fast” score called RSI.
• If the S&P 500 or Nasdaq fund looks very oversold, it buys a 3x bullish version of that market.
• If those same funds look extremely overheated, it buys UVXY, a fund that tends to jump when market fear spikes.
• Otherwise it waits in very short-term Treasury bills (BIL).
• For semiconductors, it only buys after a sharp drop; otherwise it stays in BIL.
Out-of-sample edge: ~26% annual return vs ~20% for the S&P, with higher risk-adjusted strength (Sharpe ~0.99) and lower beta (~0.80). Expect stronger upside with disciplined risk control, though occasional larger drawdowns.
