About

Daily, rules-based trader that chases dips and pops in S&P 500, Big Tech, and Semis. It uses an RSI score plus bond/volatility checks to toggle among 3x bull, 3x bear, volatility (UVXY), or cash-like T‑bills. Extremely high risk.
NutHow it works
It hunts for sharp drops (“oversold”) and spikes (“overbought”) using a speedometer‑like score called RSI (0–100; hot >80, cold <30). When hot, it briefly buys market volatility via UVXY (tends to jump when stocks fall). When cold, it buys 3× bull funds tied to big themes: SPXL (S&P 500), TQQQ (Nasdaq‑100/Big Tech), and SOXL (Semiconductors). If neither, it checks bond trends (TLT) and volatility to decide whether to stay long (e.g., TECL/TQQQ/SOXL), flip short (SQQQ/SOXS/SPXS), or sit in T‑bills (BIL/SGOV). Rebalanced daily; very high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy aims for ~44% annualized returns vs ~23% for the S&P, with a Calmar ~1.38, signaling strong risk-adjusted upside. It uses adaptive hedging to limit losses, though drawdowns can be larger in volatile markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
