About

A daily, rules‑based, tech‑tilted strategy: buy Nasdaq/semiconductor dips, fade short‑term spikes, and move to Treasuries, dollar, gold, staples, or inverse ETFs when markets turn. Adds energy/utilities on strength and uses a volatility‑triggered hedge.
NutHow it works
Each day it asks: is the market healthy? It uses a long-term trend line (200‑day average of SPY) and a short‑term “heat” gauge called RSI (a speedometer of recent gains/losses: high = overheated, low = washed‑out). In uptrends it buys dips in Nasdaq/semis (TQQQ/SOXL) and may short after sharp spikes (SQQQ/SOXS). In downtrends it shifts to Treasuries (TLT/ZROZ), dollar (USDU), gold (GLD), staples (XLP), or inverse funds. A volatility check (UVXY) adds hedges. It also rotates into energy/utilities when they show momentum.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this tech-tilted, rules-based strategy targets higher upside (27.43% vs 20.49% for the S&P) with solid risk-adjusted metrics (Calmar ~1.31; Sharpe ~0.92) through regime switching and hedges—potentially stronger long-run results.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
