About

Aggressive, daily strategy that rides tech in uptrends, hedges when moves get overheated, and de‑leverages or flips short in crashes or choppy markets using simple trend and short‑term “heat” signals.
NutHow it works
Each day it asks: are U.S. stocks in a long uptrend (S&P 500 above its 200‑day average)? If yes, it rides aggressive tech/S&P funds. If short‑term “heat” runs too hot (RSI: a recent buying‑vs‑selling gauge), it hedges with volatility or inverse Nasdaq. If the trend is weak/crashing or just choppy, it de‑leverages and may flip to short QQQ, guided by short‑term trends and a bond check (TLT vs bear‑tech). Uses 3x/4x funds—very volatile.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample levered tech strategy: ~49.7% annualized return vs S&P ~20.4%; Calmar ~0.86. Built-in hedges for overheating moves. Expect higher volatility and drawdowns up to ~58%, but potential for strong long-term outperformance.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
