About

Aggressive daily rotation using RSI and trend filters to switch among leveraged S&P/Tech, volatility (UVXY), Treasuries, or inverse QQQ. Goal: ride uptrends, hedge when “too hot,” and get defensive in downtrends. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
Rebalances daily. 1) Regime: SPY above its 200‑day average = “healthy,” else “unhealthy.” 2) Healthy: if very “hot” (10‑day RSI on TQQQ>79 or SPXL>80; RSI=0–100 gauge of recent moves), hold UVXY (volatility). Otherwise hold SPYU (4× S&P 500). 3) Unhealthy: if very “cold,” buy TECL (3× Tech) or SPYU. Else: if TQQQ < 20‑day average, buy the stronger of SQQQ (‑3× Nasdaq‑100) or TLT; else SQQQ or SPYU via RSI.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~62% annualized return vs ~20% for the S&P; Calmar ~1.27 signals strong risk-adjusted gains. Daily regime-driven rotation with volatility hedges aims for higher long-run growth, accepting larger drawdowns for upside potential.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
