About

Daily risk‑on/risk‑off ETF rotation with a “don’t chase” rule and a buy‑the‑dip trigger. When credit leads, it owns semis/growth; when credit weakens, it shifts to utilities/healthcare/gold/long Treasuries and hedges. Uses volatility‑aware sizing.
NutHow it works
Each day the system: 1) Uses a price “speedometer” (RSI). If stocks look overheated it hedges; if deeply oversold it buys semiconductors (SOXX) for a rebound. 2) Calls risk‑on/risk‑off by whether junk bonds (HYG/JNK) beat safer stocks (SPLV/QUAL/XLP). 3) Risk‑on: holds growth/cyclicals (SOXX, MGK, VBR, XLI, XLY, KIE/IAI; sometimes SVXY). Risk‑off: moves to defenses (XLU, XLV/IHI, GLD, TMF) and hedges (TWM, EUM/EEV, SRS, BTAL, VIXY/VIXM). Extra pair checks confirm. Weights use volatility; rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers better risk-adjusted returns with lower drawdowns than the S&P 500. Dynamic risk-on/risk-off rotation, volatility-aware sizing, and timely dip-buy/hedge signals capture rallies while protecting capital.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
