It watches “risk appetite” ETFs (like junk bonds, small caps, semiconductors) versus “safety” ETFs (low‑vol stocks, utilities, long Treasuries). If risk leads, it owns growth/cyclicals; if safety leads, it shifts to gold/Treasuries/defensives and some hedges. A fast overbought/oversold check briefly hedges after spikes or buys panicky dips. Several independent tests vote, positions are volatility‑weighted, and it rebalances daily.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers.
