A symphony is an automated trading strategy — Learn more about symphonies here

About

A daily, rules‑driven swing trader that toggles among leveraged tech/semis/biotech and Tesla, hedges with volatility when markets look overheated, and parks in T‑bills after sharp drops or when signals are unclear.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks a few “temperature” gauges on markets and a handful of volatile ETFs. If something looks very weak, it buys for a rebound; if things look too hot, it hedges with volatility or parks in T‑bills. It focuses on semiconductors, tech, biotech, and Tesla, and switches quickly as conditions change.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: higher risk-adjusted returns and stronger downside control than the S&P 500. Sharpe 1.71 vs 1.24; Calmar 4.37; potential for bigger tech/biotech upside with disciplined hedging and cash protection—delivering superior, more resilient growth.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
