Once a month, it looks at 11 Vanguard funds that each track a single stock market sector (e.g., tech=VGT, health care=VHT, energy=VDE, real estate=VNQ, etc.). It ranks them by price gain over ~200 trading days, buys the top 3, splits money evenly, holds for a month, then repeats.
