About

Owns a Pershing Square–like stock basket by default, adds a 20% volatility hedge when markets look overheated, tries to buy sharp dips in tech/semis after big drops, and otherwise flips to defensive shorts or T-bills based on simple stock‑vs‑bond momentum signals.
NutHow it works
Most of the time it holds a Pershing Square–style stock basket. If broad markets or key sectors look “too hot” (short-term momentum very high), it keeps that basket but adds 20% UVXY (a volatility spike bet). After fast drops, it splits 50/50: half Pershing, half a single aggressive ETF to try a bounce. If conditions stay weak, it switches to defensive shorts or T‑bills using simple trend and stock‑vs‑bond momentum checks.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~46% annualized return vs ~17% for the S&P, lower risk (drawdown ~14.8%), beta ~0.79, Sharpe ~1.18, Calmar ~3.11. High-conviction picks plus a volatility hedge to capture upside and limit losses.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
