About

A fast, daily strategy that rides tech uptrends with 3× ETFs, flips short or into volatility when markets overheat, and hides in T‑Bills during turmoil. Very aggressive, high turnover, and focused on tech/semis with multiple safety nets.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks if the Nasdaq (QQQ) is trending up. If yes and not “too hot,” it buys fast‑moving tech/semis funds that magnify gains. If overheated or falling, it flips to inverse funds, buys volatility protection, or parks in T‑Bills. It ranks choices by recent results and choppiness, then rebalances daily. Key tickers: TQQQ/TECL/SOXL/UPRO=3× bulls; SQQQ/TECS/SOXS=3× bears; UVXY=volatility spike hedge; SVXY=benefits when volatility calms; BIL=T‑Bills; TMF/TMV=long/short Treasuries.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~38.5% annual return vs S&P ~22.9%, Sharpe ~1.95, Calmar ~4.65, beta ~0.86. Drawdowns ~8.3% vs ~5.1%, but the risk-adjusted upside is compelling with a tech-forward tilt.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
