About

A daily, bear‑market‑oriented rotation that usually holds one ETF: mainly Treasuries and gold/silver, sometimes oil. It watches a fear gauge (VIX) to switch into volatility hedges, and in panic extremes briefly flips to leveraged tech/semis for rebounds.
NutHow it works
Each day it builds a few “candidates” (gold, silver, long/mid‑term Treasuries, oil, and—only in special cases—volatility or leveraged tech/semis). It ranks them by recent average returns. A fear gauge (VIX) guides one branch: low fear → bonds; rising fear → volatility (UVXY); extreme fear → brief rebound bets (TQQQ/SOXL). It then holds the single best pick.
CheckmarkValue prop
Bear-market rotation with negative beta (~-0.8) to the S&P, offering diversification and downside cushions via Treasuries, gold, and volatility hedges when fear rises. OOS returns trail the S&P, but risk reduction and resilience boost stability.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
