About

Defensive, daily-rotating strategy. Mostly Treasuries and gold/silver, but when fear rises it can buy volatility (UVXY) or, at peak panic, a short tech/semis rebound (TQQQ/SOXL). Uses recent trends and inverse‑volatility sizing.
NutHow it works
Daily: - Build two mixes: Trend (recent winners) and Bounce (most beaten‑down) from: GLD=gold, TLT/IEF=US Treasuries, SLV=silver, USO=oil. - Read fear via VIXY RSI (0–100 “hot/cold”). If very hot, try a short tech/semis rebound (TQQQ/SOXL). If warm, use UVXY (2x “fear”). If cool, use Treasuries. - Pick the mix moving more in the last week. - Weight calmer assets more (inverse volatility).
CheckmarkValue prop
Defensive, volatility-timed rotation across Treasuries, gold/silver and selective volatility. In out-of-sample testing, it aims for ~11% annualized return with a negative beta to the S&P, offering diversification and risk protection when stocks fall.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
