About

Rules-based, multi-asset portfolio: hold US blue-chips when calm and add T‑bills when choppy; rotate among bonds/gold/USD by recent strength; and use trend plus risk filters (including a cautious short long-bond trade) to preserve capital.
NutHow it works
Three parts: - US blue‑chips (AAPL, MSFT, AMZN, GOOGL, etc.). If the S&P 500 gets choppy, it moves part into T‑bills (SHV). - Bonds/income: rotates among Treasuries, inflation‑linked, corporate, high‑yield, gold, and the US dollar. Favors recent winners; if long‑bond swings spike, it parks in SHY/GLD/UUP/XLP. - Preservation: trend‑follows gold/commodities/dollar/staples and may short long bonds (TMV) only when risk checks pass; else VTIP. Legend: SHV=T‑bills, SHY=short Treas., UUP=US$, GLD=gold, XLP=staples, TMV=short long Treas.
CheckmarkValue prop
Stronger risk-adjusted returns with lower drawdowns. Out-of-sample Sharpe 2.19 vs S&P 1.35; Calmar 2.83; max drawdown 5.94% vs 18.76%; beta ~0.35. A diversified, rules-based strategy that defends capital in volatility while exposing to upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
