About

Daily 50/50 SPY–DIA with a simple RSI heat-check: when an index looks overheated (RSI>70), that half moves to short‑term T‑bills (BIL). Otherwise, stay invested. Broad US large‑cap exposure with a “cool‑down” safety valve.
NutHow it works
Each day it splits money 50/50 between SPY (S&P 500) and DIA (Dow 30). It checks a 14‑day RSI—a quick “heat check” of recent price run-ups. If SPY’s or DIA’s RSI is above 70 (overheated), that half parks in BIL (short‑term T‑bills). If not, it stays invested. If both are >70, it holds BIL for all. Exposure spans tech, healthcare, financials, industrials, consumer, energy, and more via SPY/DIA.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~14.6% annualized vs SPY ~16.6%, but with smaller drawdown (17.1% vs 18.8%), Sharpe ~0.88 and Calmar ~0.85. Adds a T-bill hedge for smoother risk and steadier, risk-adjusted gains vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
