About

Daily, it backs the five best recent performers among several rule sets. Those rules either ride strong tech/Nasdaq trends, hide in cash/bonds, or bet on fear (UVXY) and shorts when markets look overheated using simple “too hot/too cold” signals.
NutHow it works
Each day it ranks 7 rule sets by their last 10‑day results and splits money equally into the best 5. The rules switch between: risky 3× tech/Nasdaq funds (TQQQ, TECL, UPRO), safe cash/bonds (BIL, SHY, BSV), and “fear” (UVXY) or short funds (SQQQ/PSQ). Signals are simple alarms: RSI = a “too hot/too cold” gauge (high = overheating; low = washed‑out), price vs its average, and recent % moves. One module also buys the 2 strongest big‑tech stocks by ~1‑month gains. When heat is extreme it often flips to UVXY or shorts; otherwise it rides strength or parks in cash.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: Calmar ~2.02 and Sharpe ~1.34 show solid risk-adjusted upside versus the S&P. A dynamic tech/momentum, volatility-hedged core aims for strong upside, with higher drawdown risk in choppy markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
