About
Daily, it hedges hard when volatility spikes, sometimes buys deep Nasdaq dips, and otherwise rotates between stocks and commodities using longâterm trendsâusing 3Ă equity funds in good conditions and safer assets when conditions worsen.
Rebalances daily. 1) If fear (VIXM) surges on a 0â100 heat gauge (RSI>68), it shifts to a fund that rises when the S&P 500 falls (SPXU). 2) Else, if the Nasdaqâ100 (QQQ) fell >3% in 5 days, it either parks in short Treasuries (SCHO) or buys a 3Ă tech fund (TQQQ). 3) Otherwise, five long lookbacks choose stocks (SPY or 3Ă UPRO) vs broad commodities (PDBC); if stocks win but bonds lag cash, it picks the best of SPY/GLD/IEF/UUP/BSV. Equalâweights the 5 signals.
Out-of-sample: this strategy targets higher growth (â41% vs SPY's â23% annualized) with disciplined risk controls and diversified exposure (stocks, commodities, hedges). Bigger drawdowns possible, but a stronger long-run upside vs the S&P 500.
