About

Buys dips and rides medium‑term winners. In extremes it pairs aggressive stock funds with a defensive ETF or a volatility hedge. Otherwise it owns the 4 strongest assets (150‑day) and a trend‑guided Treasury position.
NutHow it works
It uses simple signals to switch between offense and defense. • A 10‑day “heat” gauge (RSI: a 0–100 meter of how stretched prices are) on tech and the market triggers dip‑buys or a hedge when things look extreme. • If no extremes, 70% goes to the 4 strongest assets over ~150 days (US stocks, tech/semis, staples, energy, healthcare, gold, commodities w/o K‑1, dollar, Brazil, bonds, anti‑oil). • 30% follows a Treasury trend: long bonds when their price is above its 150‑day average; short only when falling fast.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~25.8% annualized return vs 21.6% for the S&P, with Calmar 0.82. The mix of momentum, dips hedges, and diversified sleeves delivers stronger upside with risk controls—though drawdowns can be larger in stressed markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
