About

A fast, rules-based, daily strategy that rides 3x tech/S&P funds in uptrends, but flips to volatility, cash, bonds, dollar, commodities, or inverse funds when markets get hot or shaky—buying dips and fading rips.
NutHow it works
Rebalances daily. Uses trend filters and RSI (a 0–100 “heat” gauge: high=hot, low=cold). In uptrends it buys 3x risk funds (TQQQ, UPRO/SPXL, SOXL) and sometimes TMF, picking recent laggards. If overheated or vol spikes (VXX/UVXY), it hedges or moves to BIL. In downtrends it shifts to inverse funds (SQQQ, SPXS, SOXS), bonds (AGG/SHY), USDU, or DBC. When very cold it buys the dip after a quick bond check.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~26% annualized return vs ~24% S&P, via trend-following and hedges that capture tech/cycle upside while damping stress with volatility/bonds. Higher upside with disciplined risk—accept larger drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
