About

Daily rules toggle among TQQQ (3x Nasdaq), SQQQ (−3x), UVXY (volatility), and TLT (Treasuries). A long‑trend filter plus “hot/cold” signals buys dips, fades extremes, and parks in bonds/vol when risk rises.
NutHow it works
Tickers: TQQQ=3x Nasdaq; SQQQ=−3x Nasdaq; UVXY=VIX/vol; SPY=S&P500; QQQ=Nasdaq‑100; TLT=long Treasuries. RSI = how hot/cold a move is (0–100; >80 hot, <30 washed out). Regime: SPY above 200‑day avg = risk‑on; else risk‑off. Risk‑on: mostly TQQQ; if too hot, use UVXY; after 5‑day drops >6% buy TQQQ unless a sharp bounce flips to SQQQ; if very choppy, use TLT. Risk‑off: buy deep washes in TQQQ; else use UVXY in stress, or pick SQQQ vs TLT by momentum.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe ~1.43 vs SPY 1.32; annualized ~95% vs ~22%; Calmar ~1.87. Drawdowns can reach ~50%, but Nasdaq-led rallies offer outsized upside with hedges, delivering higher risk-adjusted returns than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
