About
A very aggressive, one-position-at-a-time trading system that alternates between 3x stock funds, a volatility fund, and Treasury bills based on whether markets look overheated or washed out.
Each day, the strategy checks whether a few aggressive stock funds look unusually hot or unusually beaten down using a 10-day “temperature” score called RSI.
If tech or the broad market looks too hot, it buys UVXY, a fear/volatility fund that often rises when stocks stumble. If tech, chips, or the S&P 500 look heavily sold off, it buys a 3x bullish fund in that area, expecting a bounce. If nothing stands out, it waits in BIL, a very short-term Treasury-bill fund.
Out-of-sample edge: 28.3% annualized return vs 20.3% for the S&P, with beta ~0.82 and Calmar ~1.25. This disciplined, single-position, contrarian system targets stronger, risk-adjusted growth—levered gains with managed downside.
