A very aggressive market-timing strategy that swings between panic protection, leveraged stock rebounds, and a trend-based mix of healthcare, bonds, the dollar, and commodities.

This strategy always puts all its money in just one idea at a time. If tech or the broad market looks extremely overheated, it buys UVXY, a fund that tends to jump when markets panic. If tech, semiconductors, or the S&P 500 look unusually beaten down, it buys a 3x bullish fund on that area for a rebound. Otherwise, it rotates between healthcare, long-term Treasury bonds, the U.S. dollar, and commodities based on which have had the strongest medium-term trends.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
