An aggressive, rules-based portfolio that mostly owns U.S. stocks and tech, adds some international stocks and managed futures, and can shift into cash, defensive stocks, rebound trades, or even a market hedge when conditions change.

This strategy is mostly a stock portfolio, but it changes its mix based on market conditions. It mainly holds: broad U.S. stocks (VTI), U.S. tech stocks (VGT), international stocks (VXUS), and a small slice of managed-futures funds (CTA, KMLM). It checks whether markets look healthy, panicky, overheated, or washed out. If conditions are calm and trends are up, it stays in stocks. If fear spikes, it can move to Treasury-bill cash (BIL). If markets look weak, it may shift to defensive consumer-staples stocks (VDC). If big tech has fallen very fast, it may buy QLD, an extra-aggressive bet on a rebound. If big tech looks too hot, it may use SH, which rises when the S&P 500 falls.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers.
