A symphony is an automated trading strategy — Learn more about symphonies here

About

Daily, it buys 3x stock funds after sharp market drops, flips to a volatility note when markets look overheated, and otherwise sits in defensive staples or bonds—always 100% in one pick.
NutHow it works
Each day it puts 100% into one fund using a 10‑day “heat” score (RSI) that compares recent gains vs losses: low = oversold, high = overheated. - If QQQ is oversold → TQQQ (3x Nasdaq). - If QQQ is overheated → VXX (volatility). - Else if SPY oversold → UPRO (3x S&P 500). - Else if SPY overheated → VXX. - Else → whichever is weaker: XLP (consumer staples) or VBF (bond fund).
CheckmarkValue prop
RSI-driven 100% single-asset rotation: rebound plays, volatility hedges, or defensives. Out-of-sample: ~22.3% annualized return, Calmar ~0.98, higher drawdowns than SPY but diversified risk management in volatile regimes.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
