About

A daily RSI-driven asset allocator that rotates among UVXY (volatility hedge), VOO/SPUU/TQQQ (equity exposure), CURE (healthcare 3x), QYLD (income), and QQQ as signals allow, aiming to ride momentum while hedging risk.
NutHow it works
RSI signals across multiple timeframes and tickers guide daily allocations. If short-term momentum is extreme (SPY/QQQ RSI very high), allocate to UVXY for hedging. Otherwise, tilt among VOO, SPUU, TQQQ, CURE, QYLD based on RSI windows (10-day for SPY/QQQ and 14-day for VOO) and thresholds. The process repeats every day with equal baseline cash and adjustments to the chosen assets. The goal is to balance momentum-driven equity exposure with hedges and sector/income tilts.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample return ~43.8% vs ~21.4% for the S&P, with lower drawdown (~17.5% vs ~18.8%) and Calmar ~2.51. RSI-driven rotations with hedges and leverage deliver higher, steadier risk-adjusted gains than the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
