About

A daily, one‑asset strategy that rotates among NVDA, XOM, or bearish 3x ETFs (SOXS, SPXU) using “heat” gauges (RSI) on TQQQ and VIXM plus recent TQQQ drops/bounces. Default: own the stronger of NVDA/XOM; extreme heat/fear triggers short semis or the S&P 500.
NutHow it works
Daily it holds one of: NVDA (NVIDIA), XOM (Exxon), SOXS (3x inverse semis), or SPXU (3x inverse S&P 500). RSI is a “hot/cold” meter of recent price moves (high=overheated). Rules: If TQQQ (3x Nasdaq) 10‑day RSI is very hot, use SOXS. If TQQQ fell >13% in 6 days: after a >6% 1‑day bounce use SOXS, else NVDA. If VIXM (volatility ETF) 40‑day RSI is hot, use SPXU. Else hold the stronger of NVDA or XOM by 40‑day RSI.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~40% vs ~19% for the S&P, with Calmar ~1.05. Dynamic hedges (SOXS/SPXU) and NVDA/XOM tilt aim for outsized upside while managing risk—note drawdowns can exceed the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
