About

A daily, aggressive switcher: reads a fast tech “thermometer” (TQQQ) and a fear gauge (VIXM) to short semis (SOXS) or the S&P (SPXU). Otherwise it owns the 2 strongest of AAPL, MSFT, NFLX, NVDA, XOM; sometimes buys NVDA after tech selloffs.
NutHow it works
Daily rules: 1) If a hot‑tech gauge (TQQQ = 3x Nasdaq fund) looks overheated by a 0–100 strength meter (RSI; high = hot), short semis via SOXS (3x inverse). 2) If that gauge fell ~13% in 6 days: after a >6% one‑day bounce short semis (SOXS); otherwise buy NVDA. 3) If fear is surging (VIXM = volatility fund with high RSI), short the S&P via SPXU (3x inverse). Else own the 2 strongest of AAPL, MSFT, NFLX, NVDA, XOM by 14‑day RSI.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe 1.85 vs 1.37; annualized return ~77% vs SPY’s ~23%; max drawdown ~17% vs ~19%; Calmar ~4.55; alpha ~0.35%. More upside with tighter downside than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
