About

Daily switches between NVDA, LLY, or SOXS based on TQQQ’s “heat.” Short semis (SOXS) when tech is extremely hot or after a sharp bounce during a selloff; otherwise buy NVDA after big drops, and default to LLY in calmer markets.
NutHow it works
Each day it looks at TQQQ (a fund that moves about 3x the Nasdaq-100) to judge heat and volatility. If TQQQ’s RSI (a “how hot” score) is very high (>79), it buys SOXS (a very volatile fund that rises ~3x when semiconductor stocks fall). Otherwise, if TQQQ fell >13% in 6 days: if it jumped >6% today, buy SOXS; if not, buy NVDA (NVIDIA). In calmer times, hold LLY (Eli Lilly).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy shows ~66% annualized return vs SPY ~23%, with higher Sharpe (~1.42 vs 1.37) and Calmar (~2.40). Drawdown is larger (~27.6% vs 18.8%), but upside potential is substantially greater.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
