About

A daily Nvidia-focused strategy that rides uptrends with a 2x long ETF, briefly flips to a 1x inverse ETF after extreme spikes, and in weak trends only buys deep dips or parks in T‑bills. Signals use a 5‑day average and fast/slow RSI extremes.
NutHow it works
Each day: 1) Quick trend check: Is NVDA above its 5‑day average price? 2) Heat check with RSI (a 0–100 “speedometer” of recent moves). 10‑day = smoother, 2‑day = ultra‑fast. - In an uptrend: hold NVDU (+2x NVDA). If RSI is extremely hot (>95 or >99.75 on 2‑day), switch to NVDD (−1x) for a pullback. - Not in an uptrend: buy NVDU only if RSI is very cold (<35 or <27.5 on 2‑day); if very hot, use NVDD; otherwise sit in BIL (T‑bills).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe 1.62 vs 1.01; Calmar 3.64; annualized ~170% vs ~19% for the S&P. Nvidia-driven momentum with a cash overlay aims for big upside while limiting risk with trend/RSI rules.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
