About
A daily trend strategy centered on nuclear energy: if the sector is rising, own the two strongest nuclear stocks; if not, rotate into one defensive bond/sector ETF that looks most oversold. Equal‑weighted; checked and rebalanced each day.
1) Check the nuclear-sector ETF NLR: if its 21‑day average price is above its 50‑day average, the sector is in an uptrend.
2) If uptrend: buy the 2 nuclear names with the strongest recent price gains (from CEG, EXC, VST, BWXT, FLR, SMR, OKLO, GEV, NNE). Equal‑weight.
3) If not: hold 1 “defensive” ETF (from bonds/utilities/staples/health care) that looks most beaten‑down recently—aiming for a rebound (pick the lowest recent‑strength score).
4) Rebalance daily.
Out-of-sample, this daily nuclear-trend strategy shows stronger risk-adjusted returns and better downside control than the S&P 500 by riding momentum and rotating defensives on pullbacks.
