About
A high-risk tactical strategy that mainly chases nuclear-energy stocks in strong markets, but quickly shifts into fear trades or bearish Nasdaq positions when markets look overheated or weak.
This strategy only puts about 60% of its money to work and appears to keep the rest in cash.
First, it checks whether the stock market looks overheated using a short-term “temperature gauge” called RSI on major stock indexes. If things look too hot, it moves into a defensive mix: mostly UVXY (a fund that tends to jump when fear spikes) plus BTAL (a fund built to hold up better in weak markets).
If the market is not overheated, it next looks for sharp short-term selloffs. If tech has been hit hard, it may buy TQQQ (a very aggressive fund that magnifies moves in the Nasdaq). If the broader U.S. market has been hit hard, it may buy UPRO (a similar magnified bet on the S&P 500).
If neither of those short-term setups is present, it decides whether the market is in a longer-term uptrend or downtrend by comparing the S&P 500’s current level with its 200-day average. In an uptrend, it buys 3 of 6 nuclear-related investments with the strongest recent performance, then gives slightly bigger positions to the steadier ones. In a downtrend, it switches to a complicated mostly bearish tech-defense system using inverse Nasdaq funds such as SQQQ and PSQ, with occasional temporary long exposure.
Out-of-sample edge: 52.19% annualized return vs 15.97% for the S&P, Sharpe ~0.90, Calmar ~0.89. A dynamic mix of hedges and a nuclear-energy tilt seeks higher upside with built-in risk controls—not a passive S&P hold.
