About

A rules-based, risk-on/off strategy: ride big uptrends with 3x Nasdaq/S&P funds (mainly TQQQ), but when markets weaken, rotate to cash, Treasuries, US dollar, VIX hedges, or a small short (SQQQ), with occasional buy-the-dip rebounds in semis.
NutHow it works
It checks daily: trend (price vs a short moving average), recent drop size, and RSI (a 0–100 “hot/cold” score). In healthy uptrends it rides 3x stock funds (mostly TQQQ; also SPXL/UPRO/UDOW). When stress shows, it pivots to T‑bills/cash, 3x Treasuries (TMF) or the US dollar (UUP), may add a small short Nasdaq (SQQQ), or use VIX funds (UVXY up in panics; SVXY the opposite; VIXM mid‑term). After big drops it may buy semis (SOXL) for a rebound.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~65% annualized return vs ~23% for the S&P, with a 1.92 Calmar ratio. It rides uptrends with hedges to limit drawdowns, delivering far larger upside while managing risk for long-term growth.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
