About

A rules-based, daily‑rebalanced portfolio that shifts among tech, energy/commodities, Treasuries, and VIX hedges using simple trend and overbought/oversold checks to ride uptrends and defend in selloffs. Parks in cash‑like T‑bills when unsure.
NutHow it works
Daily it blends several rule-based “blocks” (stocks, bonds, commodities, volatility). Signals are price vs its moving average, RSI (a 0–100 speedometer: high=hot, low=cold), drawdowns, and volatility. In uptrends it owns growth (QQQ/TQQQ), energy/commodities or short‑vol (SVXY). If overheated or falling, it rotates to bond trades (TMF/TMV), VIX funds (UVXY/VIXY), or T‑bills (BIL/SHV).
CheckmarkValue prop
Stronger risk-adjusted return than the S&P: higher out-of-sample Sharpe (1.29 vs 1.12), far smaller drawdowns (7.96% vs 18.76%), and lower beta, while maintaining competitive returns through diversified, trend-based multi-asset allocations.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
