About

A daily rules‑based switch: chase strong tech/crypto when momentum is good, fade overheated spikes with a volatility fund, and fall back to managed futures, bonds, cash or the dollar when conditions turn risk‑off. Uses RSI and 200‑day trends.
NutHow it works
Each day it picks a lane. If tech looks stronger than a trend‑following diversifier (KMLM), it rides fast movers (often leveraged tech like TQQQ/TECL and sometimes crypto). If prices look overheated (RSI ≈ a 0–100 “speedometer”), it briefly buys a ‘fear’ fund (UVIX). If trends weaken (e.g., S&P below its 200‑day or bonds beat stocks), it retreats to safety (KMLM/long‑short, bonds, cash, dollar). It always holds the single strongest choice and rechecks daily. RSI: high=hot, low=cold.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this regime-switching strategy delivers higher risk-adjusted returns vs SPY: Sharpe ~2.90 vs 2.79 and Calmar ~20.36, by riding tech/crypto rallies and hedging with safeties through daily rebalancing.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
