About

A rule-based, risk-on/risk-off strategy: buy leveraged tech/semis on dips, hedge or step aside when markets run hot, and short or hold T‑Bills when weak. It layers in managed futures (KMLM) and bond/rate toggles to diversify and limit drawdowns.
NutHow it works
It watches trend and a 0–100 “heat” gauge (RSI: high=hot, low=cold). - Trend up & not hot: buy fast-growth (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL). - Trend up & very hot: hedge by scaling into VIX funds (UVXY/VXX/VIXM) or use BTAL/T‑Bills. - Trend down or big drops: rotate to inverse funds (SQQQ/SPXU/SOXS) or T‑Bills. - Extras: bond/rate switch (TMF/TMV), a volatility kill‑switch, and KMLM (managed‑futures) when tech fades.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return 34.27% with Calmar 1.78 and Sharpe 1.08—competitive upside to SPY plus built‑in hedges, KMLM diversification, and trend/volatility controls for stronger risk‑adjusted resilience.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
