About

A daily, rules‑based “all‑weather” system: ride tech uptrends (TQQQ), hedge or step aside when markets overheat, toggle bonds (TMF/TMV), and lean into energy/commodities when they trend. Uses KMLM as a diversifier when stocks struggle.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks if markets are “hot” or “cold” (RSI: high = overheated, low = oversold) and whether prices trend up or down (moving averages). In uptrends it owns fast‑moving tech (e.g., TQQQ). If stocks stall, it shifts to safer spots like T‑Bills or KMLM (managed futures). When markets look too hot or jumpy, it adds VIX hedges; it also flips between long‑ and short‑bond trades.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample Sharpe 1.41 vs 1.10, Calmar 2.71, and annualized return ~61.7%—driven by a diversified, rules-based mix of tech trends, bonds, futures, and hedges. Delivers superior risk-adjusted growth vs the S&P with adaptive risk controls.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
