About

High‑octane, rules‑based strategy: rides uptrends with leveraged stock funds, but flips into volatility hedges (UVIX + cash‑like/market‑neutral sleeves) or inverse funds when markets overheat or the trend turns down.
NutHow it works
Two dials drive it: a long‑term trend test (price vs 200‑day average) and a short‑term heat gauge (RSI, a 0–100 “overbought/oversold” meter). In uptrends it rides fast funds (TQQQ=leveraged Nasdaq, SPXL=leveraged S&P, SVXY=bet on calm). If things look too hot, it flips to UVIX (spikes when stocks drop) plus T‑bills (BIL) and BTAL for ballast. In downtrends it uses hedges (PSQ/SQQQ=short Nasdaq), bonds or gold. It ranks options by recent results and buys the leaders.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~58% annualized return vs ~20% for the S&P, Sharpe ~1.14 vs 1.11, Calmar ~2.48. Captures strong uptrends with leveraged bets and hedges to boost upside while defending capital.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
