About

Rules-based swing strategy that flips among cash, long/short Treasuries, tech bulls, and volatility hedges using RSI and trend filters. Buys rebounds when oversold, fades rips when overbought, and parks in safer bonds/cash when signals are unclear.
NutHow it works
It watches two simple gauges: RSI (a 0–100 heat gauge: >70–80 = too hot; <30 = too cold) and trends (price vs moving averages). - Too hot stocks? Hedge/fade with UVXY or step aside. - Too cold tech? Buy XLK/TECL/TQQQ for a rebound. - Bonds: own TMF/TLT when strong/oversold; own TMV when long bonds fall. - Weak SPY trend? Short via SH. - Calm trends? Own SVXY or VTI; else BTAL/cash. It prefers the safer sub‑system by recent drawdown. High use of leveraged/vol ETPs = high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Provides diversified, regime-timed exposure beyond the S&P: bonds, tech, and volatility hedges with built-in risk controls. While OOS returns were below SPY, the strategy aims to dampen drawdowns and offer non-correlated upside in choppy markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
