About

A safety‑first, tactical switcher. It moves between bond trades, tech momentum, volatility hedges, and cash based on two simple signals—RSI (overbought/oversold) and trend (moving averages). It leans in when trends look healthy and hedges or stands aside when risk rises.
NutHow it works
It rotates among a few sleeves: long/short long‑term U.S. Treasuries (TMF/TMV/TLT), tech momentum (TQQQ/TECL/XLK), volatility hedges (UVXY/SVXY/VIXM), occasional index shorts (SH/PSQ/SQQQ), and cash‑like bonds (SHV/BIL/BSV/BND). It watches two dials: RSI (a quick gauge of how “hot” or “cold” recent moves are) and moving averages (trend). Strong trends → risk assets; extreme “hot” → hedge/short; weak/uncertain → cash/bonds. Uses leveraged/inverse ETFs; high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: annualized return -0.63%, Sharpe ~0.21, max drawdown ~28%. A diversification sleeve with hedges and cash/bond bets to complement the S&P 500, not replace it.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
