About

A tactical, rules-driven portfolio that rotates between tech, Treasuries (long or inverse), core bonds, cash-like T‑bills, gold, and selective non‑US exposures—using simple trend, hot/cold, and volatility checks to lean into strength and cut risk quickly.
NutHow it works
It’s a rule-based “go with the trend, cut risk fast” portfolio. It rotates among tech (QQQ), long or inverse US Treasuries (TMF/TMV/TLT), core bonds (BND/AGG), cash-like T‑bills (SHV/SHY/BIL), gold (GLD), EM (EEM/EUM), and hedges (PSQ/VIXY). Tools: RSI (hot/cold score), moving averages (trend lines), and volatility checks (choppiness). If trends are up and calm → offense; if weak or chaotic → defense.
CheckmarkValue prop
Risk-managed, diversified, regime-driven strategy that rides trends while capping losses. With a low beta (~0.5) and a smaller max drawdown (≈17% vs S&P ≈19%), it offers steadier, more resilient growth and improved risk control versus the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
