About

Daily, one‑position strategy rotating among UVIX, TECS, CONL/MSTR, or BTAL using simple “heat” (RSI) and short‑term trend gates to chase volatility spikes, fade overheated tech, buy crypto bounces, or sit defensively.
NutHow it works
RSI = a 0–100 “heat” score (high = too hot, low = washed out). MAs compare short vs longer trends; VIX jumps when markets fall. If Nasdaq/S&P are extremely hot (RSI>81) → UVIX (long volatility). Else if Coinbase 2x ETF is washed out (RSI<29) → CONL. Else if tech still hot (RSI>78) → TECS (inverse tech). Else if bonds>inverse‑QQQ and COIN+S&P trends up → buy the weaker of CONL or MSTR; otherwise hold BTAL (defensive).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample upside: 22.4% annualized vs SPY 19.7%, with beta ~0.93 and alpha ~0.27%. Diversified signals (volatility, crypto proxies, trend) offer lower correlation to the S&P, though drawdowns can be larger (~42%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
