A defensive market-timing strategy that tries to sidestep crashes and profit from panic. It shifts among volatility funds, bearish funds, Treasuries, gold, and short-term bonds based on market stress, rate trends, and momentum.

This strategy first asks: is the market calm, stressed, or in panic? It watches stock-market trend, volatility, tech stocks, interest rates, credit markets, and oil. In panics, it often buys volatility funds like UVXY or VIXM, which can rise when markets fall fast. In safer periods, it usually hides in short-term bonds, Treasury funds, gold, or anti-stock funds. When markets look stretched or unstable, it may switch into bearish funds that profit from drops.
