About

A daily‑rebalanced, high‑octane rotation that rides short‑term strength (often 3x tech, indexes, bonds, commodities) and, when stress hits, flips to tech bears or long volatility. Uses simple recent‑return and trend checks. Extremely high risk.
NutHow it works
It rebalances daily and blends two fast modules. First it checks if high‑beta tech is leading or cracking (using TQQQ and XLK vs XLP) and whether market volatility is rising or falling (via VIXY). In calm, risk‑on regimes it rides the strongest recent movers (often 3x tech, index, China/EM, oil or Treasuries). If momentum breaks or fear jumps, it flips to bear tech, long volatility (UVXY/VIXM), defensive/uncorrelated picks (BTAL, EUO), or leaves a small cash buffer. Commodities are added only when a broad commodity fund (DBC) trends up. Decisions use short‑term returns and trend filters; it rarely uses an “oversold” gauge (RSI) as a tiebreaker. This is very aggressive and can swing widely.
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic regime-switching momentum across tech, commodities, bonds and volatility to diversify and hedge stress. Out-of-sample: ~4.1% annualized return with ~24.6% max drawdown vs SPY’s ~29.3% return and ~13.7% drawdown—ideal as portfolio diversification, not a SPY substitute.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
